Prime Minister Dahal and UML chair Oli hold talks in Baluwatar



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN-UML chairman KP Oli have held a meeting at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Friday afternoon.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, UML chair Oli and CPN-Maoist Center chairman Dahal discussed on the issues including the presidential election and current political affairs of the country.

Before going to Baluwatar, the UML chair told the journalists outside the Federal Parliament Building that UML candidate would get elected to the post of President.

Election Commission has set Saturday, February 25, as the day for the nomination of registration for presidential candidate.

CPN-Unified Socialist, Nepali Congress (NC), Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP), among others, have been trying to revive the political alliance during the elections.

Earlier, after a meeting with former alliance Prime Minister Dahal said that he would discuss separately with NC and UML. In the morning, Prime Minister Dahal discussed with NC and other parties.
