Man killed in elephant attack in Makawanpur

MAKWANPUR: A man was killed in a wild elephant attack at Bakaiya Rural Municipality-5 in Makawanpur district last night.

The deceased has been identified as local resident Janak Lal Majhi, 50.

He died at Hetauda Hospital at around 11 pm, said Inspector Balaram Shrestha.

The incident took place when he stepped outside toward a loafing shed at around 9 pm, he added.
