Nepal sees one new coronavirus case in 24 hours, active cases 18

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded only one new case of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday.

The confirmed case was detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 404 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

All the cases tested on Tuesday were tested through RT-PCR method.

Currently, there are 18 active cases in the country as four infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,020 to date.
