Earthquake measuring 5.9 magnitude hits Bajura



KATHMANDU: An earthquake measuring 5.9 magnitude hit Bajura on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, the earthquake occurred at 2:43 pm in Bajura.

The shock of the earthquake was felt in Karnali and Lumbini as well as Sudurpaschim Province.

Indian media reported that the shock of the earthquake was felt as far as the Indian capital, New Delhi.
