DIG Pokharel appointed as Nepal Police Spokesperson



KATHMANDU: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Poshraj Pokharel has been designated as Nepal Police’s central spokesman.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dhiraj Pratap Singh on Monday assigned the responsibility of the central spokesperson of Nepal Police on DIG Pokharel.

Pokharel is working at the IGP Secretariat.

Pokharel’s predecessor Tek Prasad Rai has been transferred to the Lumbini Province Police Office, Tulsipur, Dang, hence the appointment of Nepal Police’s new central spokesman, the Police Headquarters said.
