Gandaki CM Adhikari discusses cabinet expansion with PM Dahal



KATHMANDU: Chief Minister (CM) of Gandaki Province Khagaraj Adhikari met Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda on Tuesday morning.

Adhikari reached Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar, and discussed current political developments, the expansion of the Council of Ministers in Gandaki, among other issues.

CPN-UML provincial parliamentary party leader Adhikari was appointed as the Chief Minister with the support of ruling coalition parties.

It should be noted that Gandaki Province on Monday decided to reduce the number of ministries from 12 to 7.

PM Dahal has already said that he would take initiatives ot reduce the number of ministries in the Provinces.
