KATHMANDU: Nepal has secured a spot in the finals of the ongoing triangular T20 cricket series in Kathmandu with one game remaining, and is currently facing off against UAE.
Nepal won the toss and opted to field first at the Mulpani Cricket Ground in Kathmandu.
Having clinched three consecutive victories in the series, which also features Hong Kong, Nepal booked their final berth ahead of schedule.
In the previous match, Nepal emerged victorious over UAE by 7 wickets.
Meanwhile, UAE is also vying for a place in the final by triumphing over Nepal.
Following their defeat to Nepal, UAE managed to secure a win against Hong Kong on Sunday.
Nepal currently holds the top position with 6 points from 3 matches, while UAE stands in second place with 2 points from 2 games.
Meanwhile, Hong Kong has suffered three consecutive losses, leaving them at the bottom of the table without any points.
