KATHMANDU: A partial effect of westerly wind is currently influencing Nepal, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

Today’s weather will be partly cloudy in the Sudurpaschim Province and in the hilly regions of Karnali Province, while the rest of the area is expected to have generally clear weather.

The Division has indicated a possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder or lightning in a few spots in the hilly areas of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Gandaki provinces in the afternoon.

Moreover, there is a likelihood of light snowfall in a couple of locations in the high hills and Himalayan regions of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Gandaki provinces.

As for Monday night, the weather is anticipated to be generally clear in the hilly areas of the country, while the remaining regions will continue to experience clear weather, according to the Division.
