Chinese Communist Party Politburo member arrives



KATHMANDU: Politburo Member of the Chinese Communist Party, Yuan Jiajun has arrived in Kathmandu today on a three-day visit to Nepal.

A delegation Yuan heads is holding a courtesy meeting with President Ramchandra Paudel at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas.

Also today, the Chinese Communist Party Politburo Member is paying separate courtesy calls on Acting Prime Minister and Defense Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka and Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center), Narayan Kaji Shrestha, at Singha Durbar.

Jiajun  held a virtual meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Sunday afternoon.

Yuan arrived in Nepal upon completion of his visit to Sri Lanka.
