Govt closely observing recruitment of Nepali youths in Russian army: PM Dahal



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has said that the government is closely watching the incidents relating to the Nepali youth’s recruitment in Russian Army.

Responding to a question raised by CPN-UML lawmaker Achyut Prasad Mainali in the House of Representatives meeting on Friday, Prime Minister Dahal said that the government has been closely monitoring the military recruitment of Nepali youths in Russia.

“Nepal government has been observing closely the international events,” he said.

There have been reports of many Nepali youths being recruited in the Russian Army and the mercenaries to be deployed in Ukraine.
