Nepal sees 13 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 58



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 13 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday.

Out of the confirmed cases, nine were detected through the RT-PCR method and four through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 909 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the samples tested, 440 were tested through RT-PCR method and 469 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 58 active cases in the country as 15 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
