CTEVT to provide transcripts from provinces

KATHMANDU: The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) has decided to provide transcripts and other certificates of graduates from respective province offices.

The exam controller at CTEVT, Pramod Bhakta Acharya, informed that CTEVT’s province offices will provide transcripts, mark sheets and migrations from the coming fiscal year.

This service was available only at the central office of CTEVT, Bhaktapur, so far.

With this, the graduates have been relieved of the hassles and compulsion to visit Kathmandu for certificates.

A software system is being prepared for this. In the province, Itahari Office will distribute the certificates for Koshi Province while Janakpur Office for Madhes Province, Hetauda Office for Bagmati Province, Pokhara Office for Gandaki Province, Butwal Office for Lumbini Province, Surkhet Office for Karnali Province and Dhangadi Office for Sudurpaschim Province.

The CTEVT has also planned for filling out exam forms online. It has been running pre-diploma and diploma programs on technical education and vocational training for a long.
