BIRATNAGAR: Bhupendra Rai has been appointed as the Chief Whip of the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party in Province 1.
Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party leader Uddhav Thapa appointed Rai as chief whip on Monday.
The party has 29 lawmakers in the Province 1 State Assembly.
