KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City has issued directions against the appointment of Discipline Incharges (DIs) in schools.
The directive comes after concerns were raised about DIs creating fear among students, having negative psychological impacts, and administering physical punishments, as per the findings.
The metropolitan city has cautioned against continuing the appointment of Discipline Incharges in schools that assert their role in maintaining discipline.
