People urged to take precautions against chilly weather

KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has issued a warning, stating that Nepal is currently being influenced by western winds, leading to a partial change in the prevailing weather conditions.

According to the Department, the overall weather in the country is presently clear, with a noticeable alteration expected later in the day.

The afternoon forecast indicates partially cloudy skies across the nation.

In specific regions such as Gandaki and Karnali, the hilly areas are anticipated to experience clear weather tonight.

However, the Department has highlighted a general decrease in temperature throughout the country, prompting a call to action.

As the cold intensifies, the Department has urged people to take necessary precautions to safeguard against the chilly weather.

It had advised that individuals in affected areas adopt measures to protect themselves from the cold and ensure their well-being during this weather shift.
