KATHMANDU: In a compelling address commemorating Shankhadhar Day, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ vehemently cautioned against any endeavor to reverse the hard-fought system that stands on the sacrifices of many.
Speaking fervently on Wednesday, the Prime Minister highlighted the monumental sacrifices integral to the current state of affairs, stressing that the prevailing changes were not achieved without enduring profound tribulations.
“This transformation didn’t emerge effortlessly. It was carved through the bloodshed of numerous individuals, the incarceration of countless more, and the unwavering struggle of millions,” emphasized Dahal. “Any notion of reverting this system is merely an illusion, a dream that will remain unfulfilled.”
The Prime Minister underscored a recurring trend, mentioning that the defeated “feudal elements” often attempt a last-ditch resurgence, following their setbacks.
In a direct challenge, Prachanda firmly warned against any ambitions to overturn the federal democratic republic, cautioning individuals entertaining such notions to brace themselves for the inevitable repercussions. “Those who dare to challenge the established order must brace themselves to face the consequences,” he affirmed, adding, “They will face the full consequences of their actions.”
Prachanda’s address resonated with resolute determination, serving as a staunch reminder of the sacrifices behind Nepal’s existing system and a firm deterrent against any attempts to disrupt its hard-earned stability.
