KATHMANDU: National Assembly (NA) Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina left for Angola last night leading a nine-member delegation to attend the 147th assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) to be held in Luanda on October 23-27.

Chairperson Timilsina is scheduled to address the IPU assembly on behalf of the federal parliament of Nepal, joint spokesperson of the federal parliament secretariat, Dasharath Dhamala said.

The delegation comprises NA member duo, Jeetendra Narayan Dev and Kumar Dasaudi, House of Representatives (HoR) member Ripasosi Chaudhary and Santosh Pariyar, federal parliament secretary Bharatraj Gautam, joint secretary Babita Mishra and under-secretary Tribikram Parajuli, among others.
