All-party meeting postponed due to UML Chair Oli’s absence

KATHMANDU: The all-party meeting convened by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has been rescheduled.

The meeting was deferred as the leader of the main opposition party, CPN-UML chairman KP Oli, was absent due to reported ill health.

The Prime Minister’s Secretariat confirmed the postponement, citing Oli’s non-attendance as the reason.

Chairman Oli conveyed his inability to attend the session today due to a bout of fever.

Previously, a delegation comprising representatives from UML, CPN-Maoist Center, and Nepali Congress had drafted an initial proposal for a high-level committee.

While the intention was to finalize the draft through consensus in the all-party meeting, the absence of Chairman Oli led to an inconclusive outcome.

The Prime Minister’s Secretariat has announced that the postponed meeting will be rescheduled for tomorrow.
