Muglin-Narayangadh road comes into operation after 17 hours

KATHMANDU: The Muglin – Narayangadh road section has come into operation after 17 hours of blockade.

The road, which was closed due to landslides from 8 pm on Tuesday, has become operational after about 17 hours.

According to sources, traffic resumed on the road from 12.55 pm after the removal of landslides.

This road section, which is a ‘lifeline’ connecting the federal capital Kathmandu with the eastern and western parts of the country, has been closed time and again due to landslides.

An average of 10,000 vehicles pass through this road daily.
