Nepal sees six new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 64



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of six new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday.

Out of the confirmed cases, four were detected through the RT-PCR method and two through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 835 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the samples tested, 313 were tested through RT-PCR method and 522 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 64 active cases in the country as 10 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
