Writ filed at SC against decision of President’s Office to waive fines for local level candidates

KATHMANDU: A writ has been filed at the Supreme Court (SC) against the decision of President’s Office to waive the fines of local level candidates.

Advocate Lokendra Oli filed a petition in the Supreme Court, making the President’s Office the opponent.

The Office of the President had earlier waived the fines imposed on the local level candidates not submitting their expenses details in the local elections last year.
