KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded only one new case of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Sunday.
The confirmed case was detected through the RT-PCR method.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 674 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
All 674 cases were tested through RT-PCR method.
Currently, there are 22 active cases in the country as four infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,020 to date.
