JANAKPURDHAM: The Janakpurdham Trade Fair 2079 is taking place in Janakpurdham, the capital of Madhes Province on February 17-26.

The fair aims to exchange experiences and create new dimension of trade and opportunities among national and international businesspersons, said President of the Janakpurdham Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Jitendra Mahaseth.

He said that domestic and indigenous produces will be showcased in the festival, and businesspersons from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh will participate.

Through the fair, cooperation is expected for the expansion of internal trade by carrying out a feasibility study for industrial opportunities and investing at the regional level while encouraging foreign traders and industrialists, he said at a press conference organized here in Janakpurdham today.

More than 100,000 visitors are expected, said the Federation General Secretary Manoj Kumar Sah.
