Independent lawmakers Surita Sah and Pramod Jaiswal join JSP



JANAKPURDHAM: Two independent lawmakers of the Madhes province assembly have joined the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) on Sunday.

Province lawmakers Surita Sah and Pramod Jaiswal joined JSP.

Sah was elected from Mahottari 2 ‘B’and  Jaiswal from Parsa-3 ‘A’.

JSP chairman Upendra Yadav welcomed them to the party on Sunday.

Along with this, the JSP, the third largest party in the province,  has got 18 MPs in the province.

As per the ruling coalition agreement, the JSP has been leading the Madhes government.

Out of the six independent MPs elected in Madhes, four have already joined parties.

Apart from Shah and Jaiswal, one MP joined the CPN (UML) and another joined the Janmat Party a few days ago.
