Govt allocates Rs 10 lakh compensation to families of Nepali victims in Hamas attack

KATHMANDU: In response to the tragic events in Israel resulting from a Hamas attack, the Government of Nepal has decided to provide financial compensation of Rs 10 lakh for each family who lost a member in the incident.

As per the decision made by the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Finance disclosed that relief funds, amounting to Rs 10 lakh per affected family, have been disbursed to the respective District Administration Offices.

The Ministry further detailed that the disbursement of funds aims to provide immediate assistance to the families of Nepali citizens who lost their lives in the attack.

Additionally, it was revealed that the Ministry has allocated Rs 995,000 for the medical treatment of President Ram Chandra Paudel.
