KATHMANDU: The defending champions, Kathmandu Rayzrs, are gearing up for a high-stakes encounter against Birgunj United FC in a pivotal match of the Nepal Super League (NSL) today.

Scheduled to kick off at 5 PM at the iconic Dashrath Stadium in Kathmandu, the match holds significant importance for the Rayzrs, currently positioned fifth on the scoreboard with nine points. A victory in today’s match could propel them to equal points with Dhangadi FC, presently in second place.

As the NSL intensifies, Pokhara Thunders leads the points table with 14 points from seven games, securing a spot in the upcoming playoffs. The competition remains fierce among Dhangadi, Lalitpur, Jhapa, and Kathmandu, all vying for the remaining three playoff spots.
