NC President Deuba nominates eight leaders, including Chandra Bhandari as NC central members

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has nominated eight leaders to serve as members of the Central Working Committee.

Among these individuals is Chandra Bhandari, whose nomination adds depth to the committee’s expertise and experience.

Dr. Bhandari had previously vied for the position of NC Vice President during the party’s last General Convention as part of the Dr. Shekhar Koirala panel.

Despite his previous bid, Bhandari’s nomination to the Central Working Committee signals a continued commitment to his party.

NC Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel stated that the nominations were made by President Deuba on Thursday.

These appointments adhere to the guidelines outlined in sub-section (10) of Article 21 of the Nepali Congress statute.

The newly appointed central members include: Man Bahadur Bishwakarma (Arghakhanchi), Arjun Prasad Joshi (Parbat), Dr. Chandra Bhandari (Gulmi), Shiva Prasad Humagain (Kavrepalanchowk), Kiranraj Sharma Paudel (Baglung), Bharat Kumar Shah (Rupandehi), Sharda Paudel (Kaski), and Anil Kumar Rungata (Parsa).
