Meeting of Socialist Front taking place today



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Socialist Front comprising four political parties is taking place today morning.

According to Unified Socialist Spokesperson Jagannath Khatiwada, the meeting earlier scheduled to be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday was rescheduled for 7.30 am on Monday.

The meeting to take place at the Aloknagar-based central office of the Unified Socialist is expected to discuss government affairs, and contemporary political topics, among other issues.

The Front will be meeting second time since its establishment around three months ago.

Earlier, the meeting was postponed due to the passing of Sita Dahal, Maoist Centre, leader and the spouse of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

The Front comprises Maoist Centre, Janata Samajbadi Party, Unified Socialist and the Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’.
