HoR to continue deliberation on Appropriation Bill even today



KATHMANDU: Lawmakers of the House of Representatives (HoR) will continue to deliberate on the Appropriation Bill, 2080 BS under the headings of finance, drinking water, labor and employment.

Discussions on the topics under different ministries in the Appropriation Bill, 2080 BS are ongoing in parliament.

Discussions on the Ministry of Urban Development, Ministry of Drinking Water, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security were held at Tuesday’s meeting of the House of Representatives.

Lawmaker Lal Bir Chaudhary asked the government to immediately ensure the supply of chemical fertilizer as the farmers have not received it during the time of farming.

He asked the government to make provisions for the import of chemical fertilizer on time by properly utilizing Rs 30 billion allocated for the imports of fertilizer.

Lawmaker Amresh Kumar Singh argued that the new cities should be organized as life in Kathmandu Valley is impacted due to a gradual extinction of public spaces.

Similarly, lawmaker Arjun Narsingh KC asked to ensure security and justice to the marginalized and oppressed communities.
