Nepal sees four new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 70

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of four new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Sunday.

Out of the confirmed cases, two were detected through the RT-PCR method and two through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 768 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the samples tested, 195 were tested through RT-PCR method and 573 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 70 active cases in the country as 12 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
