Sandeep Lamichhane sets world record completing fastest hundred wickets

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s star spinner Sandeep Lamichhane penned a new ODI cricket record on Friday.

Sandeep set a record by becoming the first player in the world to complete one hundred wickets in the fastest ODI.

Sandeep broke the record in the ACC Premier Cup match against Oman.

He made a rare record in ODI history by dismissing Oman’s Adil Shafiq.

Sandeep created history by completing 100 wickets in 42 ODI matches.

Along with this, Sandeep also broke the record of Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan.

Earlier, the record of the fastest 100-wicket haul in an ODI was held by Rashid. He had completed 100 wickets in ODIs in 44 matches.
