Rupak Sapkota appointed as Foreign Affairs Adviser to PM Dahal



KATHMANDU: Rupak Sapkota has been appointed as Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda’s foreign affairs advisor.

Prime Minister’s Press Adviser Govinda Acharya said that a meeting of the cabinet held on Thursday appointed Sapkota as PM Dahal’s Foreign Affairs Advisor.

Sapkota was also in PM Dahal’s delegation to China.

Sapkota has a PhD in International Relations from China.

Rupak is the son of former speaker and Maoist Center spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota.

He teaches International Relations and Diplomacy at Tribhuvan University.
