JSP joining Lumbini Province govt today



LUMBINI: The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) is joining the Lumbini Province government today (Monday).

JSP’s Bhandarilal Ahir, and the party’s parliamentary party leader, will be appointed as the Minister of Agriculture and Land Management.

He is scheduled to be sworn in today as State Chief Amik Sherchan has assigned the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Management to JSP’s Ahir on Sunday on the recommendation of Chief Minister Leela Giri.

Ahir was elected from Banke Constituency-2(1).

Lumbini Government spokesperson Chetnarayan Acharya said that the swearing-in ceremony of Ahir will be held at 11 am.
