RSP to nominate Indira Rana as Deputy Speaker candidate



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has decided to field Indira Rana Magar as its candidate for Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR).

The meeting of the parliamentary party (PP) of RSP held on Friday morning decided to make Rana the Deputy Speaker candidate.

The ruling coalition has already decided to support RSP’s candidate for the Deputy Speaker of the HoR.

It should be noted that Devraj Ghimire of CPN-UML has been elected as the Speaker on behalf of the ruling coalition on Thursday.

The House of Representatives meeting to be held tomorrow will elect the Deputy Speaker.
