4 Richter scale earthquake jolts Kaski



SINDHUPALCHOWK: An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale and with its epicenter at Mirsa of Kaski was recorded at 9.53 am today, said the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, Lainchaur.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale and with its epicenter near Kalika of Humla, had occurred before this on July 13.

Earthquake tremors epicenter in places of the mountainous and hilly regions of eastern and western parts of the country have become recurrent of late.

The mountainous and hilly region of Nepal is considered vulnerable to earthquakes.
