KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) will continue the hearing on the habeas corpus-related petition in connection with the arrestees of the Lalita Niwas Land Grab scam today as well.

The hearing, which took place in a division bench consisting of Justices Prakash Kumar Dhungana and Nahakul Subedi, remained inconclusive on Tuesday due to time constraints.

Secretary Krishna Bahadur Raut, former Election Commissioner Sudhir Kumar Shah, businessman Min Bahadur Gurung, and former employee of the Land Revenue Office Dharma Prasad Gautam have all filed petitions against their arrests in relation to their alleged involvement in the land scam.

The SC is currently examining a total of six petitions simultaneously in relation to this case.
