HoR meeting taking place at 11 o’clock today



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place at 11 o’clock today (Monday).

The HoR is discussing various headings of the Appropriation Bill, 2080 BS, related to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration and the Ministry of Health and Population.

On Sunday, Member of Parliament (MP) Rajan KC emphasized the need to improve the overall health sector of Nepal.

Member of Parliament Tshiring Lama Bhote demanded that the medical mafia be identified and taken action.

Likewise, MP Devprasad Timilsina said education and health should be free for the general public, with easy access to health services.

Meanwhile, parliamentarian Menka Kumari Pokharel complained that the budget was introduced based on the power of political parties and leaders.

The government has not made any provision in the budget for diseases like heart, diabetes and cancer, neither has any attention has been given to awareness.
