LSP decides to give vote of confidence to PM Dahal

KATHMANDU: The Loktantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP) Nepal has decided to give the vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

A meeting of the LSP parliamentary party today took a decision to this effect.

LSP senior leader Rajendra Mahato said the party decided to give trust vote to the Prime Minister and also join the government.

“The party has decided to give the vote of confidence to the Prime Minister. This will pave the way for the party’s joining in the government,” leader Mahato said.

Likewise, the meeting has decided to sit in the ruling party bench in the parliament.

Although the LSP had lent a vote of confidence to the Prime Minister before this, it had taken the seats allocated to the opposition party in the House of Representatives (HoR), the lower house of the Federal Parliament.

The LSP has four seats in the HoR.
