Renounce petty interests, work for nation-building: NA Chair



KATHMANDU: Chairperson of National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina has urged everyone to renounce personal and party interests and join the campaign of nation-building.

In a message today on the occasion of the 73rd Democracy Day, he said that the country will take steps towards prosperity only if we can work together with a consensus in the campaign of nation-building, which will also be true respect and justice for the martyrs.

Describing political stability and national unity as prerequisites for development and prosperity, he said the present constitution serves as the foundation for building an egalitarian society based on the principles of proportional representation and inclusion

The NA Chair has also wished that the day inspires us all to adopt democratic conduct to fulfill the national aspirations for sustainable peace, good governance, development and prosperity.
