KATHMANDU: The Secretariat meeting of the Unified Socialist Party is set to kick off today (Monday), after the scheduled dates of December 14 and 15 were rescheduled.
The party’s Publicity Department confirmed that the meeting will take place over the course of today and tomorrow.
During this ‘crucial’ meeting, party leaders are poised to deliberate on pivotal matters, including the establishment of criteria for selecting candidates to represent the party in the upcoming National Assembly elections scheduled for January 25.
Additionally, the agenda encompasses a comprehensive review of the organizational landscape across the country and an assessment of the progress made by grassroots organizations.
The outcomes of these discussions will shape the party’s stance and strategies in the forthcoming political landscape, according to the Department.
