MAKAWANPUR: A pedestrian has died after being hit by a scooter in Babuchok of Hetauda sub-metropolitan city-17.
The incident took place on Friday evening and the deceased has been identified as 43-year-old Gopini BK of the same locality.
Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Lakshmi Bhandari, said BK was seriously injured after being hit by the scooter (NA25Pa 8356) and died during treatment at Hetauda Hospital.
The police have detained the scooter rider and investigating the incident.
