Tri-nation series: Nepal set to face UAE



KATHMANDU: Nepal is gearing up to clash with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today, Wednesday, in the inaugural game of the tri-nation series, also featuring Hong Kong.

The match, scheduled to commence at 1 p.m., will take place at the Mulpani Cricket Ground.

Known as arch-rivals in the realm of associate cricket, Nepal and UAE are expected to exhibit a high-octane showdown.

With the double round-robin format in play, the top two teams emerging victorious will secure their spot in the finals, adding an extra layer of intensity to the series.

In anticipation of the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier to be hosted in Nepal, the national team is utilizing this triangular series as a vital preparation ground.
