PM Dahal commits to initiating efforts to resolve Parliament obstruction

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has affirmed his intention to take proactive measures, in collaboration with the CPN-UML – the main opposition party – to address the ongoing obstruction in the Parliament. During a meeting held at the official residence of the Prime Minister in Baluwatar on Friday morning, PM Dahal assured Speaker Devraj Ghimire that he will actively engage with the CPN-UML to alleviate the parliamentary impasse.

Two more Chinese citizens arrested in gold smuggling case

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has apprehended two more Chinese nationals in relation to the confiscation of 100 kilograms of gold. The arrests were carried out in Kathmandu last night as part of the ongoing investigation. The identities of the detained individuals have not been made public by the police.

PM Dahal anticipates significant energy agreement during China visit

Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” holds a positive outlook regarding the prospect of a pivotal energy agreement during his upcoming visit to China. Hospitals instructed to conduct fever clinic

The Epidemiology and Communicable Disease Control Division of the Ministry of Health and Population has instructed the federal hospitals and the Institute of Health Sciences to conduct fever clinics as needed, considering a surge in the number of daily dengue infections.
