Tiger attack injures three in Chitwan



CHITWAN: Three persons have been injured in a tiger attack at Madi Municipality-3 on Tuesday.

Superintendent of Police at District Police Office, Chitwan, Rameshwor Karki, informed that those injured in the tiger attack are Mohan Sahani, 41; Umesh Sahani, 42; and Ram Nath Majhi, 55.

All the victims are the residents of Bairath from Madi Municipality-3.

The tiger attacked them while they tried to chase away the beast after it ate goats in the village. The tiger emerged from the national park.

The injured ones have been referred to Bharatpur Hospital after the local health facility of Baghauda could not treat them, the police added.
