4.8 million rupees recovered from a woman going to Bhairahawa



KATHMANDU: Police have recovered 4.8 million rupees in cash from a passenger who was going to Bhairawa from Kathmandu via Budhha Air flight.

According to Airport Security Police Chief DIG Arjun Chand, the money was recovered from Baby Kumari Gurung’s hand-carry. She was going to Bhairahawa by Buddha Air flight.

DIG Chand informed that the source of the money has not been disclosed.
The incident is under further investigation, he said.

The amount was recovered from the hand-checking area of the airport.
