Resham Chaudhary will be released: PM Dahal



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has expressed his belief that Resham Chaudhary, who is serving life imprisonment after being convicted in the Tikapur incident, will be released soon.

Answering lawmakers’ queries in today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, PM Dahal said Chaudhary will be released from jail.

Prime Minister Dahal said that the government was in favor of publishing the report of the Lal Commission, but could not do so due to some practical and legal complications.
