10-party alliance agrees to go in favor of TRC bill and vote of confidence to Prime Minister Dahal
The meeting of the 10-party ruling coalition has decided to move ahead united in favor of the transitional justice management and Truth and Reconciliation Commission-related bills proposed by the government.
According to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’s secretariat sources, the meeting of the ruling coalition held at the Prime Minister’s residence Baluwatar on Saturday evening has also agreed to present the bill in parliament tomorrow (Sunday).

National conference on rainwater harvesting to kick off on Sunday
A national conference with the theme of ‘Rainwater harvesting for conserving water and addressing the impacts of climate change’ is taking place in Kathmandu on March 19-20.
The two-day conference will be co-organized on the occasion of the World Water Day by the SmartWash Solutions and the WaterAid Nepal in coordination with the Ministry of Water Supply and collaboration with various organizations.
Electricity to be exported to Indian states via Bihar grid
A meeting of the Nepal-India Power Exchange Committee is to prepare a modality for power export from Nepal to other states of India through central transmission line via Bihar grid.
The 14th meeting of the Committee concluded on March 17 at New Delhi, India, decided to prepare the modality of power to be exported by Nepal within a month.
The meeting was co-chaired by Executive Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority, Kulman Ghising, and member of Power System member of the Central Electricity Authority of India, Ashok Kumar Rajput.
Sudurpaschim Govt to reward Airee and Sarki with Rs 200,000 each
The Sudurpaschim Province Government has decided to reward Dipendra Singh Airee and Bhim Sarki with Rs 200,000 in recognition of their outstanding contribution in the recently held ICC World Cup League II.
