Namibia sets 275 runs target for Nepal

KATHMANDU: In Saturday’s match under the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League-2, Namibia has given a target of 275 runs to Nepal.

Namibia, who lost the toss and were invited to bat, scored 274 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Zane Green scored 75 runs for Namibia. He hit 11 fours and a six off 63 balls.

Likewise, Picky or French scored 49, Handy Lawrence scored 41, Ruben Tumpelman scored 24, Mitchell Vanlingen scored 22 and Karl Brixtok scored 20.

Sandeep Lamichhane took three wickets and Karan KC took one wicket for Nepal. In the last five overs, Nepali bowlers proved to be expensive. Namibia scored 84 runs in the last five overs.

The fourth match of the tri-nation series is being played today. Nepal defeated Namibia in the first match. Scotland defeated Namibia in the second match and Nepal defeated Scotland in the third match.
