Nepal sees nine new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 32

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of nine new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.

Out of the confirmed cases, seven were detected through the RT-PCR method and two through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,297 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of those cases, 351 were tested through RT-PCR method and 946 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 32 active cases in the country as one infected patient recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,020 to date.
