KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of office bearers to decide on the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
The meeting will be held at Deuba’s residence Dhumbarahi at 9 am on Wednesday.
The Nepali Congress has not decided whether to field a candidate for the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Today’s meeting will decide on whether to field its candidate for the Speaker or not.
The election of the Speaker will be held on Thursday (January 19).
